Hope for Haiti

Hey ya'll, as I've mentioned before, Haiti has an earthquake with a massive of 7.0 magnitude. It happened somewhere in the capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, January 12th. There are about 100,000 people out there needs help, they have some serious injuries.And lots of the buildings have collapsed. I know how Haiti feels cause - Me, leaving in Jakarta has encountered the same problem but the only difference is that the magnitude of it is not that long - just for a few second, still its very strong. So this is the time to help. If you're helping others, you are helping yourself too. Believe me.

100% of funds raised will go towards relief efforts in Haiti and there are NO backend costs. Additionally, the Entertainment Industry Foundation has waived all administrative fees.

A massive, 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti near the capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, January 12th. The damage to buildings is extensive and the number of injured or dead is estimated to be over 100,000.

Hey guys! Have you ever heard about this new upcoming movie called, "Eat, pray & love"? Well, I have. Am I the first one to know? O.o *chuckles* But on the second thought no I'm not. To be honest, the first one to know is my drama teacher/ex-ESL teacher, Ms Emily WestWood!!! *claps hands excitedly* Cause why? *coughs, clears throat* Here's the exciting reason: She saw that special casts of the movie, *drumrolls* Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts!!! were filming in Ubud, Bali (if I'm not wrong) She saw it with her own eyes! Really, really!!! I was like *yells* "OH SHUT UP MS EMILY!!! *whispers* I hope she's not kidding! (but she wasn't) DID YOU GET TO HUGGED/GET HIS AUTO??!?!?!" LMAOOOO... AND "DAMN I SHOULD GO BALI DURING CHRISTMAS AND NOT AFTER NEW YEAR!!! *slaps self onto the forehead* Oh yes, I've forgotten to tell you when is it. They went on filming in Bali during Christmas. Sadly, I wasn't there....Me, and Ms Emily didn't know went the movie comes out.But there's a taken, sequel trailer though. Watch it:

My black cat has been found :)

Thank god! My cat has been found when I've returned home from Bali. One of our neighbor stole it. The most disappointing sentence is that my mom told me that neighbor of mine lie, saying that the cat is not with them. But luckily he is really smart. He went home by himself! How I love him! Now, I don't have to be grieving about it. Haha. I can hear his meow again... And I will not let him get out of the house at night.... xxx

Earthquake strikes PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti

There's a major earthquake hit PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti just yesterday on the 14 of January.*about 7.0 magnitude* --- SHOCKING! Doctors, search dogs, troops and some rescue team able to flew down to Haiti and discovered that there's lots dead and dying people on the ground (on Thursday). The international Red Cross team estimated about 45,000-50,000 people were killed in Tuesday's cataclysmic earthquake. Lots of hungry people were begging for food and fighting for water. There's even some rescue team from Virgina, from China were able to flew down to Haiti too... (for working, of course!) And thank god!, they found one of the security guard ALIVE beneath the collapse concrete floors of the UN peacekeeping headquarters, where many others were entombed...

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti: Doctors and search dogs, troops and rescue teams flew to this devastated land of dazed, dead and dying people Thursday, finding bottlenecks everywhere, beginning at a main airport short on jet fuel and ramp space and without a control tower.

The international Red Cross estimated 45,000 to 50,000 people were killed in Tuesday's cataclysmic earthquake, based on information from the Haitian Red Cross and government officials. Worries mounted, meanwhile, about food and water for the survivors.

"People have been almost fighting for water," aid worker Fevil Dubien said as he distributed water from a truck in a northern Port-au-Prince neighborhood.

From Virginia, from China, a handful of rescue teams were able to get down to work, scouring the rubble for survivors. In one "small miracle," searchers pulled a security guard alive from beneath the collapsed concrete floors of the UN peacekeeping headquarters, where many others were entombed.

But the silence of the dead otherwise was overwhelming in a city where uncounted bodies littered the streets in the 80-degree heat, and dust-caked arms and legs reached, frozen and lifeless, from the ruins. Outside the General Hospital morgue, hundreds of collected corpses blanketed the parking lot, as the grief-stricken searched for loved ones. Brazilian UN peacekeepers, key to city security, were trying to organize mass burials.

Patience already was wearing thin among the poorest who were waiting for aid, said David Wimhurst, spokesman for the UN peacekeeping mission.

"Unfortunately, they're slowly getting more angry and impatient, because when they see us moving - and we're patrolling the streets, the military and the police are out patrolling the streets in order to maintain a calm situation, so that humanitarian aid can be delivered," he said.

In Washington, President Barack Obama announced "one of the largest relief efforts in our recent history," starting with $100 million in aid. The first of 800 paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division were to deploy to Haiti from North Carolina, to be followed by more than 2,000 Marines.

From Europe, Asia and the Americas, other governments, the UN and private aid groups were sending planeloads of high-energy biscuits and other food, tents, blankets, water-purification gear, heavy equipment for removing debris, helicopters and other transport, and teams of hundreds of search-and-rescue, medical and other specialists.

But two days after much of this ramshackle city was shattered, the global helping hand was slowed by the poor roads, airport and seaport of a wretchedly poor nation.

Some 60 aid flights had arrived by midday Thursday, but they then had to contend with the chokepoint of an overloaded Toussaint L'Ouverture International Airport. At midday, the Federal Aviation Administration said it was temporarily halting all civilian flights from the US at Haiti's request, because the airport was jammed and jet fuel was limited for return flights. The control tower had been destroyed in Tuesday's tremor, complicating air traffic. Civilian relief flights were later allowed to resume.

Those which did land then had to navigate Haiti's inadequate roads, sometimes blocked by debris or by quake survivors looking for safe open areas as aftershocks still rumbled through the city. The UN World Food Program said the quake-damaged seaport made ship deliveries of aid impossible.

The looting of shops that broke out after the 7.0-magnitude quake struck late Tuesday afternoon added to concerns. The Brazilian military warned aid convoys to add security to guard against looting by the desperate population.

Gosh darn it, Miley Cyrus. We were just starting to respect you more as an artist and a mature human being.

Over the last few weeks, we've actually given you props for deleting your Twitter account and keeping your relationship with Liam Hemsworth private.

But you've gone ahead and erased all that good will with a series of spoiled, whining quotes in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar. Speaking to the magazine, Miley relays how it felt to fly to Tybee Island and film The Last Song.

"I got on the plane, and I was lying in my mom's lap and crying and saying, 'I'm so happy to be getting out of L.A.,'" she said, adding: "I went out every night with my friends... All this stuff would've been such a big deal in Los Angeles: Who's she with? Why is she dancing?"

That may be true, Miles, but so is this: You'd never have landed a starring role in a movie if not for your life in Los Angeles. So shut up and stop sounding so ungrateful.

Out looking for "coffee"

Hmmm... We still couldn't found our cat... We look like almost every where, again! We went back to the per shop today - where we bought him.. But confusingly, there are lots of cats that look like him. I was happy at first but then too bad there it wasn't it. The funniest thing is that, while on the way to the pet shop, we "meowed" and called "Coffee"... Hanif and I thinks that its really crazy and embarrassing. But its for our own good. The other funny thing is that while we were calling "Coffee", there's someone walk passed by our car and thought we called him. Cause he replied "ha?" and so we laughed. LOL. At the pet shop there, we saw lots of cute animals, I wanna buy one but its expensive. I asked the seller "how much is it?", the seller answered "600 000 IDRP" I was like "OK, never mind then. Hehe." (at first I thought that it would be "16000 IDRP" LOL) We look and look. There isn't. When we arrived back at home, mom told me that this is Friday night and if we pray that "Coffee" is safe god might make it come true. And so I did a few minutes ago, after dinner. I hope "Coffee" COMES BACK!!!!

In addition to stealing Jen Kao's dress design, La Loca has also lifted a leggings design from James Lillis, designer of Black Milk Clothing.
The designer recently took to his blog after he noticed striking similarities between his Sheer Spartan leggings and 6126's Diamond design. His response? "Sucks to be me".
Jen Kao knows how you feel! The designer has already issued a statement about being copied, saying:
"While we are all well aware that being ‘mimicked’ or ‘copied’ has always existed in this industry, I think the evolution of it all has grown to an alarming level. It’s a shame to support the concept of taking advantage of designers who are still trying to develop a name and solidify the image of their design aesthetic."
But after the two claims Lindsay's camp begs to differ.
President of 6126 Kristi Taylor had this to say about all the copycat accusations:
“The alleged ‘copying’ claims made by these companies are false and have absolutely no merit or validity whatsoever. Any alleged similarities are purely coincidental. The 6126 illustrations for the upcoming fall 2010 collections do not even describe the fabric content, fit or actual construction details of the garments. This is merely an accusation based upon a pencil sketch with no concrete viable evidence to back up the allegations.”

I really miss my black cat. I've been worrying. I don't know where he went. He has been out for 3 days. Someone might have stole it when he went outside of the gate. There's a big hole underneath it. So there might be possibilities. And when there's someone saw it, they might steal it. But I hope there's someone out there who is really nice.... Put it back to the pet shop where I bought him or sent to the vet... I really want my black cat. So sorry if I didn't play with you. Come back home kitty, now my white cat is alone...... The modern period has been a time of many advances in the science, politics, warfare, technology, and globalization. During this period is a time where the European powers began a political, economic, and cultural beginning in the world. In the 19th and early 20th century, art, politics, science and culture are important parts of every area on earth. The period is also called the early modern period. This time was a time where the Europeans found the new world and began colonizing it, for instance, when America was colonized by the English Puritance. Industries began to make clothes, ornaments, and other. useful tools that revolution began in the everyday modern world as we know it. The Napoleonic Era is a period in the History of France and Europe. It is also known as the you can keep this French Revolution, the first being the National and the third being the Directory. The Napoleonic Era being the Directory. The Napoleonic Era begins with Napoleon's coup d e tat, Era begins with Napoleon's coup d e tat, overthrowing the directory and ends at the Hundred Days and his defeat at Waterloo. The 19th century is the time in history from 1815 to 1914. During this century, the Spanish, Portugese start to die. Following the Napoleanic wars, the British Empire became the world's leading power, controlling one quater of the world's population and one third of the land area. Singapore was also involved, which is why they speak English. The British also helped to trade, and battle piracy. This time also sees the first light bulb, cars, railways, airplanes, printing press and other inventions. The 20th century is a time which technology and medicine gets better and change peoples way of life. Some advance,ments were in space exploraion like NeiL Armstrong's voyage to the moon. Also nuclear technology in genetics, and the beginning of the information age. This was also a time of where the second world war began and ended, cold war, the fall of the British Empire and the independence of countries, such as Indonesian Independence Day in August 17 1945. So, this is the main summary of the early modern ages, and what comes next after that from their developments.

First of all let me just say that the only reason I am writing this blog is because I am doing it for my late Fiance, Casey Johnson aka Casey Nguyen (she wanted to take my last name after we got legally married in Idaho).

For the LONGEST time this DISGUSTING so called "SUPERMODEL" named Jazmine Leonard has been nothing but a LEACH in our lives! She has had a LONG criminal history back in London where is she is originally from, and everyone in London hated her so bad for being a known Gold digger and Homewrecker(most known for seducing Simon Cowell and calling paparazzi's on her own to have them take pictures of her leaving his apartment) it was news all over London and this disgusting bitch was thriving off of the fact that she just ruined people's lives! Yes, this person that calls herself a "SUPERMODEL" ummm...im sorry...but does this face look like a supermodel to you? And yes, she's got TONS of plastic surgery on her face, not that have I have anything against plastic surgery, but damn, I thought plastic surgery was supposed to make you look better, not UGLIER??? I guess it's just her TRUE COLORS shining through! LOL



Anyway, this is the same bitch who had the AUDACITY to PRESS CHARGES against my late FIANCE, Casey Johnson over a pink fucking sweater and some forever 21 dresses!!!!!!!!! Wow, are u that desperate??? First of all, to make it clear, my fiance DID NOT STEAL SHIT FROM HER! ESPECIALLY SOME FOREVER 21 DRESSES! As a matter of fact, this same bitch came to my house year ago and stole 3 of my Dolce & Gabanna dresses and never returned it. Did I press charges. No. I figured, this bitch is broke, gold-digger and I have a lot more going in my life so I just figure let it be and let her have it.

So my point is, after pressing charges on my innocent Fiance, when Jazmine was the one WHO GAVE HER THE KEY TO HER PLACE & TOLD HER TO BORROW WHATEVER SHE WANTED(this was before Casey & I met and fell in love) Jazmine set her up on purpose, HOPING that she would get MILLIONS off of Casey, but once she realized that Casey didn't have that money, Jazmine, this Devil...an UGLY devil at that got pissed and as soon as My Fiance and I announced that we got engaged, this bitch would not stop harassing us! I don't even know this bitch. As a matter of fact, a couple years ago I met her through mutual friends and being the nice person that I am, I offered to help her get her own TV show, to which I did. I put her and her nasty partner in Crime Courtenay Semel in my new TV SHOW PILOT FOR MTV, which was a HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!! We shot the pilot, and everything was done, but because those 2 were being SUCH DIVAS ABOUT EVERYTHING, they did NOT sign the contracts and so therefor the show was never released. THANK GOD! Cuz I would have been the one responsible for making them BOTH FAMOUS! EWWWWW!

Fast Forward to today, this Jazmine Cunt is still going on and on about me when I have not spoken nor said a word about her for YEARS! Why is she constantly stalking my life??? If she had a life of her own, maybe she would stop stalking me and making up lies. She is the same person selling her FAKE stories to Perez Hilton and Radaronline & many other news outlets. I find it SAD that she can't get any press of her OWN unless she NAME DROPS ME! That is the ONLY way the media will ever pay attention to her is if she NAME DROPS ME OR MY FIANCE! She can never do it on her own! PATHETIC! Oh yea... her and Court Semen even had the Police come raid my house to look for that "PINK SWEATER & SOME FOREVER 21 DRESSES" and u know what's really sad?? She had one of the officers take a fake pink ring that one of my FANS BOUGHT FOR ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY OFF OF MY AMAZONE LIST AND NEVER GAVE IT BACK TO ME! HOW SAD IS THIS BITCH??? She literally stole one of my fan rings that a fan gave to me and said it was hers! HOW SAD! STEALING FROM TILA FANS NOW! SMH....

Now here is the part where I'm going to call her out. Do u guys remember a while ago I claimed that someone broke into my house? Well it was never a lie. It was Jazmine who did. She broke into my house, vandalized it, and that's when she stole all of my Dolce & Gabanna Dresses. I let the police do their job & that's why I never talked about it publicly so people eventually thought I was lying about it ,but I wasn't. I had a warrant out for her arrest and everything, but then her ass flew back to LONDON for a while to hide out, so eventually I just dropped the charges.

On top of that she is currently making money in LA by being a paid Prostitute. She works for some washed up old Lesbian named Lisa who runs some type of Prostitution camp where she sends out girls like Jazmine to fuck and suck guys off for about $300. She's also admitted to mutal friends that she got money buy sleeping with a few famous guys without a condom and lied to them and conned at least 3 of them out of $100,000.00!!!!!!! Yes, she lied to them and told each of them that she was pregnant with their baby and if they wanted her to abort it, then they would have to pay her $100,000.00 each. She has conned people like Dave Navarro, Simon Cowell and many others I dont want to put on blast. She even had the nerve one night to tell me to set up my good friend Ryan Seacrest!

I immediately called Ryan and told him to watch out for this girl. Ryan and Simon are GOOD PEOPLE! They don't need leaches like her trying to ruing their careers! I will vouch that they are TRULY ONE OF THE NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET AND ONLY WANTS TO HELP PEOPLE!

THis was YEARS ago! I never heard from her again nor had her in my life for years. She only popped back up once I got engaged to my late Fiance Casey because of the lamest court case of all time, over a PINK SWEATER, FOREVER 21 DRESSES & NOW SHE STOLE A TILA FAN RING! SAD! That was the only problem I had with Casey and was trying hard to help her get away from these negative broads who have no career so they thrive off of drama! I was in the middle of helping my Fiance get away from that scene. They only used her when she had money, then when they sucked her clean, and she had nothing left, they left her, abandoned her, and then to make it worse, pressed charges against her hoping to get some money!

I on the other hand was there for Casey when she had NO MONEY, down in the dumps, and i didn't care. She had her heart to offer me and I saw this beautiful Angel inside of her that I fell in love with. I don't care about money because I have plenty of my own. Plus she was broke when I met her anyway. I spent thousands of dollars on buy presents for her Daughter Ava who she wanted me to adopt so I could be her Mother Too! We fell madly in love and was about to start a beautiful life together. We NEVER had one bad thing to say about anyone, yet Jazmine and Courtenay would ALWAYS go OUT OF THEIR WAY to say shit about us. GET A LIFE! WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU SO WHY DO U ALWAYS HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT WE ARE DOING??



Sadly, my Wife is no longer here with me today so I am going to battle this on my own because I know in my heart, this is what she would have wanted. As a matter of fact, she is the one who sent me this email of this picture of Jazmine this so called "SUPERMODEL" and said to me "EWWWWWWWWWW" LOL God I love my wife. I don't want to talk about her further cuz I'm going to break down crying because this week we were supposed to go look at new houses together. Animal issues

I seriously have lots of animal issues today!!! Well first one of my black cat went missing. It went out of the house at midnight if I'm not wrong, that's what my mother says. A few minutes later it went back in. And it went back out again. From there, it went missing. My black cat didn't come back home. Till the next morning SAD. I didn't hear its meowing since then. Is it my fault? Cause I don't really care about that cat that much. I was to busy tweeting - talking to my tweeter friends. Well mostly on the computer. LOL. My cat loves coming in to my room and always want to play with me. But noo I can't cause I was to buuusy on the computer. LOL. But at times, it gets annoying. It also loves to disturb me when I'm doing my homework... I know, it kindda pissed me off too sometimes. My mom says that there's someone might took it, but how's that possible ? The gate is really big. And my mom also says that there's some other cat came in and kill it. WTF ? Wonder why they like to say that. Grrrr....
Not just a problem with the black cat. I have problems with my bunnies too... Like I just tweeted, there's something wrong with my bunny legs. First the brown one and now it happened with the white one.... Its all because of who's fault ?!?! It's my little brother's fault !!! First they throw those bunnies in the swimming pool (outside my house). I could tell cause they're wet. LOL. For two times !!! Ahh I am soo mad... And the second reason is, my stupid idiotic little brother, Ammar throw's my bunnies like a football... Get what I mean?!?! Hanif shows how he did it and it was surprisingly shocking !!! BERLIN — Police in southern Germany say an officer has been suspended from duty after allegedly having sex in a Catholic church during a service.

Regional police spokesman Hans-Peter Kammerer told the German news agency DAPD on Monday that the 26-year-old faces possible disciplinary measures and a criminal complaint for allegedly disturbing religious activities.

He said a visitor discovered the officer with a woman in the church in Rennertshofen, near the Bavarian city of Ingolstadt, during an early-morning service last Thursday. The couple then fled, but a church employee recognized the officer.

The man was suspended the following day. Disturbing religious activities can carry a sentence of up to three years in prison.

Reviews - Rihana Rated R album (Holy Kaw)

< SINGAPORE : Rihanna's latest album "Rated R" reflects her current post-Chris Brown situation. For those who do not know, R&B singer Chris Brown used to be her main squeeze until he beat her on the way back from a pre-Grammy Awards party in February this year. Rihanna, 21, suffered visible injuries on her face and did not attend the awards show the next day.

Chris Brown, 20, was charged with assault and making criminal threats against Rihanna. He was sentenced to five years probation and 180 days of community labour, but the damage had been done.

Becoming a victim of domestic violence must have shaken Rihanna because "Rated R" is so much darker than Barbadian singer's other previous works like the playful "Girl like Me" in 2006 or the soulful "Good Girl Gone Bad" in 2007.

Most of the tracks in "Rated R" are about betrayal, anger and the pain love lost. They are often littered with violent imagery. Those are the only common elements her songs share.

In terms of style and execution, the songs are very different, possibly due to the diverse group of top talent that worked on them.

For example, the track "Cold Case Love" penned by Justin Timberlake invokes the sorrow of breaking up in the listener. Then the listener is suddenly brought back to the heyday of Gangsta Rap with the gunplay laden lyrics of "G4L" by Chase and Status, before being plunged into the world of a boastful superstar in "Hard" with rapper Young Jeezy. The transitions are simply too jarring.

The album sounds fine in terms of technique: Rihanna still shows off her strong vocals in the songs. It is just that the disparate tracks do not flesh out a solid identity for the album and makes it sound like Rihanna used this album as a form of therapy for her tumultuous relationship with Brown.

"Rated R" got a little too gloomy and rather messy for my taste. I suppose there is no real way of stopping a musician's personal life from spilling into their music.

Those who are fans will probably accept the different direction her music has taken but those who are not might want to check out her earlier works instead.

SEOUL : Lee Min-Woo of popular South Korean boy band Shinhwa has been hospitalised after a serious car accident on Christmas eve.

According to Lee's management company, the singer was travelling in a car with five friends when the vehicle skidded on an icy road near a ski resort in Gangwon-do and crashed off a cliff.

The car was badly damaged and the driver suffered a spinal fracture and had to be hospitalised for six weeks.

Lee, 30, who was sitting in the backseat of the car, suffered a mild concussion and injured his neck, back, and ankle. He would need about three weeks to recover from his injuries.

A close friend of the singer revealed that the driver and passengers could have lost their lives if not for the car's airbags.

Due to the severity of Lee's injuries, his concert which was scheduled to be held on January 16 and 17, would have to be cancelled.

WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday said unrest in Yemen threatens global instability, after western powers closed their embassy in Sanaa and Washington overhauled its terror watch and "no-fly" blacklists.

"The instability in Yemen is a threat to regional stability and even global stability," Clinton told reporters following talks with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr al-Thani.

"And certainly, we know that this is a difficult set of challenges, but they have to be addressed," Clinton said as the US government grappled with the implications of the attempted jetliner bombing linked to an Al-Qaeda group in Yemen.

She noted that Washington was working closely with its allies to chart "the best way forward" to address the security concerns.

Warnings of a possible Al-Qaeda attack prompted Washington to close its embassy in the Yemeni capital on Sunday. The British and French authorities followed suit, while Japan suspended consular services at its embassy.

The United States will reopen its embassy in Yemen "when the conditions permit", Clinton added, noting security was under constant review.

Long-standing concerns that Yemen has become a haven for Islamic terror groups were thrown into sharp relief when a Nigerian man allegedly trained in Yemen was charged with trying to blow up a jet on December 25.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, reportedly confessed to being trained by an Al- Qaeda bombmaker in Yemen for the suicide mission on the Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.

It was foiled when explosives allegedly sewn into the man's underwear failed to detonate, and passengers jumped on him.

US President Barack Obama has revealed that Abdulmutallab spent time in Yemen during the summer where he was allegedly in contact with Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). AQAP has claimed responsibility for the plot.

Clinton noted that the State Department was reviewing whether to revise procedures that allowed Abdulmutallab to board the Amsterdam-Detroit flight.

The bombing attempt triggered an overhaul of US terror watch blacklists, adding dozens more suspects to "no-fly" lists.

"Probably thousands upon thousands upon thousands of names were scrubbed, and probably dozens were moved to different lists," White House spokesman Bill Burton told reporters on Monday, referring to the lists which determine whether a person is allowed to board a US-bound flight in a foreign airport.

New rules at international airports also went into effect from early Monday, meaning all passengers boarding US-bound flights may now be subjected to random pat downs and baggage searches.

Further boosting security measures, all travellers coming from or via 14 "terror linked" countries will have to undergo compulsory enhanced screening.

Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan and Syria and Yemen are among the 14 countries affected.

With Western pressure growing for Sanaa to tackle AQAP, Yemeni forces shot dead two Al-Qaeda militants Monday in a bid to capture Mohammed al-Hanq, one of the group's most senior leaders, who managed to flee the firefight.

Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Kurbi rejected any comparison between his country and Afghanistan as an Al-Qaeda haven.

"Yemen is capable of confronting these groups, but it needs international aid to form and train anti-terrorist units as well as economic aid, since the problem also has an economic dimension," Kurbi told reporters during a visit to Doha.

UN chief Ban Ki-moon, meanwhile, voiced support for upcoming international talks on strife-torn Yemen proposed by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown later this month.

Britain has denied accusations that it failed to share information about Abdulmutallab, a graduate of University College London who was put on a watchlist barring him from future entry into Britain in May 2009.

Brown's office said information gathered while he was a student in London between 2005 and 2008 had been passed to US authorities.

As the investigation into the botched bombing continued, Obama prepared to meet Tuesday with intelligence and security chiefs at the White House.

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents were also in Ghana investigating Abdulmutallab's stay where he allegedly bought the ticket for the bomb targeted flight.

Nigerian officials, meanwhile, hit out at the new air travel rules. "It is unfair to discriminate against over 150 million people because of the behaviour of one person," Information Minister Dora Akunyili told journalists.

Cuba's communist party newspaper Granma blasted the measures as "anti-terrorist paranoia".
